Launch of the Identification Drive for Wayúu Children, Adolescents, and Pregnant Women at the Siria Ranchería in Manaure, La Guajira

We reached the rural area of Manaure, La Guajira, to bring identification services closer to the communities that need them most. From April 16 to 18, 2026, the Siria ranchería hosted a drive where children could obtain their civil registration, safeguarding their right to identification from the earliest years of life.

The activity was supported by the Inspector General’s Office, ICBF, SENA, Migration Colombia, and medical teams, which provided comprehensive care and services that contribute to the community’s well-being.
