Productive Development in La Guajira: 52 Associations Receive Supplies and Equipment by the End of 2024.

Under its commitment to strengthen operational capacity and promote food sustainability, AUNAP presents the results of Action 822 of the Provisional Action Plan as of the end of 2024.

Through a cumulative investment of COP 3,678,760,437, the agency comprehensively strengthened 52 artisanal fishing and aquaculture associations in the municipalities of Riohacha, Manaure, Uribia, and Maicao, achieving 150% of the established target. This milestone included the delivery of strategic assets such as outboard motors, vessels, safety kits, and aquaculture equipment, including aerators, pumps, and concentrated feed, among other items.

These measures not only strengthen productive capacity but also encourage collaborative work and the management of sustainable initiatives, directly improving the quality of life of approximately 400 beneficiaries.

AUNAP continues to work in coordination with its partners to ensure that this support meets availability and accessibility criteria, transforming fishing into a driver of well-being for the department.
