Statement on the Identification Drive for the Wayúu Population in Manaure

From April 16 to 18, 2026, the National Civil Registry carried out a civil-registration and identification drive for children and adolescents from the Indigenous Wayúu population in La Guajira.

The activity took place in the community of Siria in Manaure, where families accessed these essential services to guarantee the right to identification from childhood.
